2022-2023 Spring Sports Registration
Opening Day April 23
January 17, 2021
Parents - We hope this message finds everyone well and staying safe and sound.
Below you will find comprehensive details on spring sports, summer recreation and any information that we have at this time.
We would like to emphasize that Closter Recreation, Haworth Recreation and Demarest Recreation's (DAA) number one priority is keeping the children and families safe during these unprecedented times. Any programs that are run will be conducted following all recommended protocols set forth by the governor’s office, local health and OEM offices, and local town officials. We must PLAN for rec programs accordingly, and we will be moving forward on the basis of these agencies and officials, allowing programs to take place as the spring/summer approaches.

SUMMER RECREATION (for closter children only)
FULL DAY SUMMER RECREATION (for Closter children only)
We are completely at the mercy of the governor’s office, local Board of Health and OEM offices and the schools allowing us to use the facilities for our summer rec program to take place. We are planning to send out a SURVEY the first week of February. We ask that all parents interested in sending their children to the full day summer rec program to fill out the survey. This will allow us to plan properly and see what our needs are for space and counselors. We will NOT be collecting fees until we are 100% certain that we will be able to offer a camp this year.
HALF DAY FREE SUMMER RECREATION (for Closter children only)
If we are able to run the Full Day Summer Rec program, our half day - free summer rec program will also run.
